[source] it is the whole plant of Adiantum palmatum.

[plant morphology] Adiantum palmatum

Perennial herbs, 30-70 cm high. Rhizome short, recumbent, covered with brown membranous scales. Leaves clustered; petiole black purple, smooth glabrous, glossy, apex forked; leaf blade 2-forked, palmate; pinnae solitary on the upper side of main branch, pinnate split, the largest in the middle; pinnules obliquely oblong, base cuneate, upper margin shallowly lobed, without main vein. Sporangia are oblong transversely, slightly curved, attached below the membranous cysts formed by leaf margin retroflexure; cysts are reniform or oblong.

He was born under the mountain forest. It is distributed in Northeast, North and southwest of China.

[collection] in summer, it should be dug and dried in the shade.

[chemical constituents] the leaves contain some triterpenoids, such as fernene, isofernene, 7-fernene, anserine, anserine aldehyde, adiantone, isofernone, adiantyl palmatum, HEPTENE Ⅱ, neoheptadiene, neoheptadiene and fernadiene.

[natural flavor] it is sweet, slightly astringent and bitter, and flat in nature.

[function indications] diuresis, dehumidification, Tonglin, regulating menstruation, analgesic. It can cure dysuria, gonorrhea, hematuria, dysentery, rheumatism, irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia, leucorrhea, toothache.

[usage and dosage] oral: decoction, 3-5 yuan.

[clinical application] treatment of cervical lymph node tuberculosis

Use black foot gun to dry 1 liang of whole grass, or 2 liang of fresh, add 2.5 liang of pork (12 Liang system), cook the same, remove the residue, and take the medicine juice with the meat, one dose a day.
