Water fennel

[source] it is the whole plant of water fennel.

[plant morphology] fennel

Annual herbs. Stem slender, filiform, nodose, internodes ca. 1 cm, pale green. Pseudoleaves cylindric, whorled at each node, numerous and divergent. The male and female organs are at the upper node of the stem.

Most of them live near water or in ponds.

[collection] harvest in summer.

[flavor] pungent, flat.

Functions and indications: dispelling wind, clearing heat, removing dampness and relieving cough.

[prescription selection] ① for wind heat and cold: water fennel, water celery and water wick are five yuan each, simmered and taken with water.

① Water choking cough: water fennel, water Bailai, water Angelica each three money, simmer water service.

② Treatment of burns, burns: water fennel grind powder, add ice a little, transfer sesame oil topical application.
