Leaves basal, usually 5-7; leaf blade lanceolate, 6-11 cm long, 1.6-2.7 cm wide, apex obtuse, base cuneate downward, margin slightly shallow wavy, concave with short spines, veins 2-3 pairs, prominent, dorsal vein reddish brown, upper green, lower light green, both sides and margin covered with brown hairs, the most dense marginal hairs; petiole about 4-13 cm long, densely covered with brown hairs, the most prominent The basal hairs are longer and dense.
