Perennial herbs. Underground stem is long, aboveground stem is short or short, many stolons. Basal leaves long petiole, ovate heart-shaped, 2.5-5 cm long; apex usually long pointed, base curved, narrow and deep, margin with obtuse teeth, leaves and petioles pilose, lower veins dense; stipules brown, free, margin with sparse eyelashes. Flowers bilaterally symmetrical, long peduncle pilose; sepals 5, oblong lanceolate; petals 5, lilac, spur short, saccate. Fruit globose, usually pubescent. Seeds small, dark brown.

Born in the fields, roadsides and forests. It is distributed in Yunnan.
