[synonym] xiongliugen (Fujian folk herbal medicine), tiebaojin and tuhuangqi (Mindong materia medica).

[source] it is the root of Polygonum multiflorum in rhamniaceae. For the plant morphology, please refer to "Monopterus albus vine".

[collection] harvest in autumn and winter, wash, slice and dry.
