[plant morphology] Nitraria rubra

Climbing shrubs. Branches and petioles covered with pale brown tomentose and with scattered hook like prickles. Single leaf alternate, petiolate, broad ovoid, 5-lobed, 6.5-7.5 cm long, 7-9 cm wide, apex obtuse, base cordate, pilose, with more pilose veins above, light brown below, densely covered with rust colored villi, deeper veins, longer hairs, lobes with small round blunt saw teeth. Sepals in axillary clusters or pale brown, terminal leaves with long white hairs.

Born on the roadside or in the forest. It is distributed in Guizhou and other places.
