[source / prescription] this product is the dry aerial part of Dracocephalum tanguticum Maxim. They were harvested at seedling stage or at the beginning of flowering, and then dried in the shade.

[character] the stem of this product is square, 2-4mm in diameter, with longitudinal groove; the surface is gray green or blue purple, brittle, easy to break, with pith or hollow section. The leaves are opposite, mostly broken, 2-5cm long, pinnately split to fully split, the lobes are often shrunk and twisted in needle shape, and the intact ones unfold in narrow lanceolate and grayish green after wetting; the petiole is 2-10mm long. Cymes, bracts leaflike, calyx tubular, 1-1.4cm long, with 5 teeth; corolla 2-lipped, blue, 2-3cm long. It is fragrant, pungent and slightly bitter.

[identification]

(1) The powder is gray green. The yellow fluorescence was observed under ultraviolet lamp (365 nm). The anticlinal wall of leaf epidermis cells was wavy and curved, and the cuticle lines around them were obvious. The non glandular hairs are cone-shaped and consist of one or more cells. The diameter of the base is about 50 μ M. The head of glandular hair is oblate, 1-3 cells, 90-130 μ m in diameter, with short stalks and occasionally multicellular long stalks. The pollen grains are numerous, yellow, spherical, with verrucous protuberances on the surface. Most of them have six pore grooves with a diameter of 70 μ m, and three germination pores can be seen. The vessels were reticulated and annular.

(2) Take 5g of crude powder, add 40ml of ethanol, heat and reflux for 1 hour, and filter. The content of petroleum ether was adjusted to 70%. The lower ethanol solution was used for the following experiments: A. take 2ml of ethanol solution, add a small amount of magnesium powder and several drops of hydrochloric acid, showing red. In addition, 0.2ml ethanol solution was dripped on the filter paper, and sprayed with 5% AlCl3 ethanol solution, and observed under ultraviolet light (365 nm), showing yellow green fluorescence. b. Take 4ml of the above ethanol solution to evaporate, add 4ml of 5% hydrochloric acid solution to dissolve, filter, adjust the filtrate to alkalinity with ammonia water, extract with chloroform for 3 times, 5ml each time, combine the extracts and concentrate them to 5ml, take appropriate amount of them on the silica gel G thin layer plate, and use n-butanol-ethanol-water (4:1:1) as the developing agent. After unfolding, it was slightly dried and sprayed with modified bismuth potassium iodide reagent, with three red spots.
