Another name: wannianji and wannianjiqi.

[source] it is the tuberous root of wild anemone. The plant morphology is shown in the section "Impatiens balsamina".

[collection] from September to December, the fibrous roots were removed and dried.

[medicinal material] the dried root tuber is spindle shaped or oblong, about 2-4 cm long, about 1 cm in length. Inner loose bubble is not solid, oil soaked.

Produced in Sichuan.

[flavor] slightly cold in nature, hard in taste and non-toxic.

Functions and indications: removing blood stasis, detumescence and detoxification. Treatment of traumatic injury and carbuncle.

[usage and dosage] oral administration: soak wine, 5-8 yuan a day; or grind the end. External use: tamping.

[selected formula] ① for carbuncle swelling: bawangqi, sanxuecao, cisanjia, shejiacao. It's to be rammed together.

② Foot fat poison: bawangqidaorongtu.
