[clinical application] treatment of angina pectoris

Take barley root Zhiwei tablets orally, 100-200 mg (2-4 tablets) each time, 300 mg for a few, three times a day. In 31 cases of angina pectoris, 22 cases of symptoms were significantly relieved, the number of attacks decreased, exercise tolerance increased, nitroglycerin dosage decreased, shortness of breath and palpitations relieved. Most of the symptoms were relieved within 2 weeks after taking the medicine, and the effect was obvious after taking 3000-6000 mg. 12 cases of ECG were reexamined, 6 cases of myocardial damage improved, exercise test turned negative, 6 cases had no change. 9 cases of hypercholesterolemia, the average value was 308.4 mg before treatment, decreased after treatment, the decreased value was 39-124 mg%, the decreased percentage was 17-40.7%, more than 25% in 5 cases, less than 25% in 4 cases, the average decreased 27.6%; 19 cases of hypertriglyceridemia, the average value was 327.2 mg before treatment, 17 cases after treatment were significantly decreased The absolute value of the decrease was 24-270 mg%, and the percentage of the decrease was 13.7-54.7%.
