He loved painting when he was young. He was first enlightened by Wang Guanqing, a local sage. Later, he was instructed by Xie zhiliu, Zhang Ding and other famous masters of calligraphy and painting. His works are mainly composed of flowers and birds, as well as landscapes and characters.
He used to be the editor in chief of "art time and space" magazine of Anhui Artists Association, Secretary General of Anhui oil painting society, and now is the editor in chief of "art collection", vice president of Anhui Academy of calligraphy and painting in 1993, member of Anhui Artists Association, special professor of Chaohu University, Wanxi University, and member of Jiusan Society. In recent years, the work "you Zhu Qi Qin" has been selected into the 2010 National Chinese painting exhibition sponsored by China Artists Association, the work "He Feng" has been selected into the sixth Western earth love Chinese painting oil painting exhibition sponsored by China Artists Association, the "Jin Yu man Tang" has been selected into the Eighth National Fine Brushwork Painting Exhibition sponsored by China Artists Association, and the invited painters and judges of the 2008 and 2009 Chinese famous flower and bird painters' works exhibition, Participated in the planning of the 2009 National Exhibition of Chinese painting.
