Tongguan Yellow River Scenic Spot is located at the famous ancient military pass-Tongguan ancient city, 140 kilometers away from Xi'an, only 20 kilometers away from Huashan, Pentium south of the Yellow River, through the Qin-Jin Gorge, "River out of Tongguan, because of the Chinese resistance and increasing its water power" (Mao Zedong language), outside Tongguan ancient city, compatible with the west to the East to Weihe, Luohe River, after the confluence of the three rivers, suddenly tortuous eastward flow. 。 The southern boundary of the scenic spot is the north boundary of 310 National Road in Tongguan ancient city zone, the Jinpen overpass in the west, and the County beach in the lower reaches of the Yellow River Highway Bridge in the east. It is about 10 kilometers along the East and west of the river, and 20 square kilometers can be exploited on the shore and on the beach oasis. The area includes the Yellow River, Weihe River, Nuwaling, Tongguan ancient city and numerous ancient battlefield sites.

From Weinan to Tongguan, the Yellow River Scenic Spot is about 78 kilometers and takes about one hour. From the east of Weinan to the east of Lianhuo Expressway, to the port under the high-speed, through X319, to the terminal station Tongguan Yellow River Scenic Area .

Characteristics of scenic spots

Tongguan Yellow River Scenic Area has seven characteristics :

Firstly, the legendary birthplace of the whole human race is here, "Nuwa created human beings and created human beings" in "Upper and Lower Five Thousand Years", "Notes to the Water Classic" and other books: "Nuwa Ling is on the Yellow River shore of about three miles outside Tongguan Dongmen, and built Nuwa Temple". Emperor is the ancestor of the Chinese nation, and Nuwa is the ancestor of the whole human race, is our county, Weinan city and even the whole of Shaanxi Province.

Second, "the first bend of the Yellow River under heaven" is the only sharp bend on the Yellow River that is less than 90 degrees outside the ancient city of Tongguan, forming a unique and spectacular "Yellow River Tide" .

The third is the magnificent confluence of the Yellow River and the Weihe River. Because the Yellow River and the Weihe River are blue, a rare yellow-blue River spectacle has been formed in the Yellow River section after the confluence.

Fourthly, the Yellow River in Tongguan Section shifts eastward from north to south. The Yellow River in Weitongguan is close to the Bank of Henan for a long time. There is no bog and mud beach between the banks. It can be launched with its feet stretched out and is very easy to be exploited and utilized.

Fifth, Jixin Island, the only inland river island on the Yellow River in the Wanli River, stretches over a long area of Yumu, with lush water and dense reeds. Swans, Mandarin ducks, geese and other rare birds inhabit daily in winter. It is an excellent place to develop eco-tourism .

Sixth, Tongguan's unique catfish soup of the Yellow River, the only traditional food on the Yellow River, has a unique flavor and attracts a large number of domestic and foreign diners, and has formed a fixed source of customers.

Seventh, Tongguan section of the Yellow River is parallel to 310 National Highway, Second-class Road and Expressway, only 100 meters apart. It is in contrast with other characteristic highways in Zhengzhou, Sanmenxia and other Linhuang counties and cities in Shaanxi Province, which are far away from the Yellow River. It can be sightseeing without stopping along the tour route. The scenic spot is only 10 minutes away from Huashan .

Ancient poems such as "Yellow River hangs Beilong" and "Yellow River Jiuqu embraces Chongguan" chant Songtongguan for thousands of years, quenching the legendary story of "not being willing to reach the Yellow River" for thousands of years, which makes Tongguan Yellow River Scenic Area more fascinating and charming. The dangerous drifting of the Yellow River in the torrential waves, the catfish soup of the Yellow River in Qin, Jin and Henan, and the Tongguan ancient city, which was praised as the "first city in the world" by Emperor Kangxi, have attracted many tourists from home and abroad. At the same time, only hundreds of meters away from the Yellow River, there are green Phoenix Hill, Dongshan available, it is very easy to develop air, water, land, mountains and other recreational and sightseeing projects, is the ideal place for investors to "use force".

Current situation of scenic spots

At the beginning of 2000, the Yellow River Scenic Spot and Scenic Spot Management Office was established in our county, and the official start of foreign investment and development publicity. After more than two years of development, it has begun to take shape and has a considerable popularity both inside and outside the province. It has become a scenic area integrating functions of eating, living, traveling, shopping, entertainment and meeting. Each year, more than 100,000 tourists from inside and outside the province and some foreign countries visit Tong, which has become the third largest tourist reception place in Weinan after Huashan and Qianchuan. The facilities of the scenic spot include: one Western hotel, namely Venice Hotel, one Chinese hotel, namely Laobaijia Hotel, both of which can be served in restaurants, accommodation and conference reception; one Western River viewing corridor with a length of 100 meters and one antique River viewing corridor with a length of 50 meters; three large and medium cruise ships, more than 10 small cruise ships and speedboats, one light cruise plane; one small ostrich and peacock viewing garden. In April 2001, the upstream and downstream routes of the large cruise ship "Golden Triangle" were opened to officially receive tourists.
