Neijiang in the period of the Republic of China
The 1911 Revolution ended the rule of Qing Dynasty in Neijiang City. In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), Sichuan government was unified, and the districts, cities and counties of Neijiang City were divided into the second (Zizhong, Neijiang, Ziyang, Jianyang, Weiyuan, Rongxian, Renshou and Jingyan counties), the seventh (Longchang), and the twelfth administrative supervision district (Anyue and Lezhi).
