In 2018, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in Panzhihua was 7.027 billion yuan, an increase of 4.2%. Among them, agricultural output value was 4.434 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2%; forestry output value was 108 million yuan, an increase of 3.9%; animal husbandry output value was 1.959 billion yuan, an increase of 2.6%; fishery output value was 430 million yuan, an increase of 0.9%; the output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery and auxiliary activities was 96 million yuan, an increase of 7.0%.

The total output of meat was 59000 tons, an increase of 3.2%; the output of pork was 40000 tons, an increase of 3.6%; the output of beef was 4300 tons, an increase of 1.3%; the output of mutton was 7200 tons, a decrease of 0.7%.
In 2018, the afforestation area of Panzhihua City was 3801 hectares, the area of Closing Hillsides for afforestation was 180 hectares, and the nursery area was 248 hectares. The forest coverage rate reached 61.85%. In the whole year, the total power of agricultural machinery reached 701400 kW, an increase of 1.7%; the burden area of mechanical farming was 547900 mu; the effective irrigation area at the end of the year was 39.98 hectares, and the number of drainage and irrigation machinery was 8638.
