In 2018, Leshan Normal University, School of engineering and technology of Chengdu University of technology and Leshan vocational and technical college enrolled 16051 students, including 52775 students, 13837 graduates and 2509 full-time teachers.
By the end of the year, there were 227 ordinary primary schools, including 31581 new students, 181100 students and 29623 graduates; 167 junior high schools, 29507 new students, 84017 students and 24926 graduates; 25 senior high schools, 13411 new students, 40453 students and 13911 graduates; 732 kindergartens, 93903 children in kindergartens; and 19 secondary vocational and technical schools There are 31399 students and 441 students in 3 special education schools. The completion rate of nine-year compulsory education was 100%.
