Meishan landform

Meishan city is high in the West and low in the East, high in the South and low in the north. The territory of mountains and horizontal, hilly ups and downs, dense river network. The central part is the broad Minjiang River valley plain. Guangdongdong mountain in Hongya County is the highest mountain in the city, with an altitude of 3172 meters. In the south, the mountains are towering and the terrain is steep. Most of the gullies are in the shape of "V". The terrain is cut and broken. The altitude is more than 1000 meters. In the north, there are low mountains, hills and plains, and the terrain is gentle and flat. Pingba covers an area of 1396.80 square kilometers, mainly distributed on both sides of Minjiang River, accounting for 19.44% of the total area of the city; hilly area of 4237.75 square kilometers, mainly distributed in Longquan Mountain range and Zonggang mountain range, accounting for 58.97% of the total area of Leishi city; the mountainous area is mainly composed of medium and low mountains, with an area of 1551.45 square kilometers, mainly distributed on the right bank of dinghongya Qingyi River, accounting for 21.59% of the total area of the city.
