Li Guiqing, male, graduated from the Department of mathematics, University of science and technology of China in 1987, majoring in computational mathematics; Master of computer theory and mathematical logic, Nankai Institute of mathematics in 1990; doctor of computer application technology, Institute of computing technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001.

Basic introduction

He taught in Guangxi Institute of education and Guangxi University from 1990 to 1998. From September 2001 to September 2003, he was engaged in postdoctoral research in the State Key Laboratory of CAD & CG, Zhejiang University. From 2002.5 to 2002.10, 2004.6 to 2004.10, 2005.7 to 2005.10, I did a short-term research in the Department of manufacturing engineering and engineering management, City University of Hong Kong.

Research interests

Areas of interest include 3D geometric modeling, rapid prototyping, reverse engineering, computer animation, multi-resolution analysis and human-computer interaction technology. The current research work mainly focuses on Digital Geometry Processing Based on subdivision surface representation, focusing on the related theories, technologies and algorithms of large-scale triangular meshes processing, such as mesh reconstruction, smoothing, parameterization, shape analysis, content-based access and geometric modeling, etc. The completed work includes triangle mesh simplification, polygon mesh smoothing, triangle mesh geometry and topology optimization, triangle mesh reconstruction with sharp features based on subdivision surface, and subdivision pattern construction of approximation and interpolation.
