Zeng nianping, director and photographer of mainland China, graduated from the Photography Department of Beijing Film Academy.

In 1982, he worked as a photographer for the plot film red elephant. In 1988, he worked as a photographer for the crime movie Silver Snake murder. In 1992, he worked as a photographer for the plot film forty no doubt. In 1994, he was the photographer of the plot film "red powder", which won the Silver Bear Award for best visual effect at the 45th Berlin International Film Festival. In 1996, he directed his first TV play thunderstorm. In 2000, he won the best Photography Award of the 7th Singapore Asia TV festival for his family drama April. In 2004, he worked as a photographer for the modern drama life and death.
