[source] endosperm of Mirabilis jalapa seeds. For plant morphology, please refer to "purple jasmine root".

[chemical composition] the seeds contain a lot of starch. It contains 4.3% crude fat, 24.4% saturated fatty acid, 46.9% oleic acid, 13.6% linoleic acid and 15.1% linolenic acid. It contains quercetin and kaempferol glucoside.
