Chang Guangxi

Chang Guangxi, born in Wanzhou District, Chongqing, is an animation designer, special effects designer, director and screenwriter in mainland China. He graduated from the animation department of Shanghai Film Academy.

In 1962, he started his animation career as an animator of the short film "mindless and unhappy". In 1965, he was the animator of the short film "Little Sisters of prairie heroes". In 1974, he was the animator of the short animated film "big tide night". In 1979, the fantasy adventure animation film "Nezha naohai" was released. In 1983, he directed his first animated short film butterfly spring. In 1985, he and Lin Wenxiao co directed the animated short film "save the deer in the clip", which won the best short film Golden Elephant award of India International Children's Film Festival. In 1989, he directed the animation short film strange Mongolian horse, which won the excellent film award of the Ministry of radio and television. He won the first China Film and television animation director award for this film.

In 1995, he and Yan Dingxian and Lin Wenxiao co directed the animated film "since ancient times, heroes come out of youth", which won the 5th "five one project" award. In 1999, he directed the mythical animated film "lotus lamp" and won the animation dream award of Argentina International Film Festival. In 2007, as an art design animation "little carp adventure" premiere. In 2013, he was the art consultant of the animated film Xibaipo 2: Hero Wang erxiao. In 2014, he served as the artistic director of the original cartoon series "little monk in the sack". In 2015, he directed the animated film frozen adventures in frog kingdom. Chang Guangxi's films are closely related to music and sound. Music plays an important role in animation. It is not only the implicit expression of animation characters' emotions, but also the spiritual clue to outline animation.
