Early experience

Xu Min was admitted to the performance Department of Beijing Academy of drama in 1964. Later, he worked as an actor in Hebei Chengde drama troupe and was transferred to Beijing Film Studio in 1976.

Acting experience

In 1976, he starred in the first film Shanhua.

In 1980, Xu Min acted as Qian Kai, the hero of the film 405 murder directed by Shen Yaoting.
