Biaoxi Township
Biaoxi township is located in the southwest of Jingning She Autonomous County, Zhejiang Province. It is 19.5km away from the county. An area of 49.56 square kilometers (2017), East by Daji Township, South Yan Xi Township, west of Shawan Town, earth township, northeast Wu Wu Tongxiang.
Biaoxi township was established in 1931 as the third district in the Qing Dynasty. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it is still known as biaoxi township. The Township People's government is stationed in biaoxi village, with an altitude of 220 meters. It governs biaoxi, Hezhuang, fenglinkou, Yuzhang, Chuji, Yexie, dongche, Mashan, Daitou, 9 administrative villages, 40 natural villages, and a population of 1135 people (2017), including 78 she people. Five administrative villages, including Yuzhang, Chuji, Yexie, Mashan, Daitou, are revolutionary villages during the Anti Japanese war old liberated area. the terrain inclines from southeast to northwest, and all the water flows into the stream. With mild climate and abundant rainfall, it is a comprehensive agricultural area of grain, tea, fruit, livestock and medicine in the middle of the county. The area of cultivated land is 2950 mu, producing rice and coarse cereals; the area of woodland is 57715 mu, rich in pine and miscellaneous trees, with 751 cubic meters of timber sold annually. Fenglinkou power station, a township run enterprise, has 2 installed units with a capacity of 110KW. During the Anti Japanese War, Shaoxing Jishan middle school moved to Qianzhang for three years. There are township level education, culture, health, broadcasting, film, credit cooperatives and post and telecommunications facilities. Jingning Qingyuan and Longquan highways pass through the township. Jingning Shangbiao power station highway runs through the township. Water clouds connect with sailboats and rafts, so the transportation is convenient. In 2003, the total income of rural economy was 17.49 million yuan, and the per capita net income was 2240 yuan.
