These fonts are produced by the tools of the highest quality standards, such as Adobe Systems and projective solutions, so that high-resolution imagesetters and 72dpi fonts for screen display contain more hinting information to ensure the best quality. All postscript fonts can be used in postscript raster processors supporting double character tuples and some postscript compatible translators. The Chinese fonts of monotype company are produced into big five code and GB standard code. We also provide fonts in different codes such as Unicode, GBK, ibm550 and CNS character set. Ctdl was founded in 1986 and has a team of Chinese font experts who are famous for the development of Chinese font database by the monotypelaser imagesetter.
