Career introduction

He Fanfan, formerly known as he Kangqi and also known as he Kangqi, is his stage name. He is a native of nanchengfang, Daojiao, Dongguan. He Fanfan loved Cantonese Opera when he was young, and he often learned to sing opera when he was in private school. Later, he studied in Hong Kong by his elder sister he Xian, and dropped out of school in the first grade of junior high school. In 1935, he studied Cantonese Opera from Shi Yanzi and Chen xingzhang, and his stage name was he Fanfan. After that, he Xian paid to organize the Cantonese Opera Troupe, and let him study with the troupe, so as to gain the advantages of many families and improve his skills. In 1939, he performed in Shanghai, Macao and other places with the group. Due to his novel singing and skillful acting skills, he was appreciated by Zheng manxia, daughter of Zheng runqi, the commander of Guangdong army, and contributed money for his further study. In 1944, they married in Guangzhou. He Fanfan studies hard, keeps improving, enunciates clearly, the accent is fluent, becomes a school of his own, calls it "any cavity". After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, after more than ten years of hard training, his singing and acting art has reached its peak. His Cantonese Opera Troupe, named "feifanxiang", employs famous actors such as Chu Xiuyun, fenghuangnv and chousheng xiaojuetian to perform on the same stage. He is famous for his "love monk sneaking into Xiaoxiang Pavilion". In the play, he and Chu Xiuyun play the roles of Jia Baoyu and Lin Daiyu respectively. They have performed more than 300 times in Guangzhou for more than one year, breaking the highest box office record of Cantonese opera. Since then, they have become famous Cantonese Opera students in Hong Kong and Macao. At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, he Fanfan went to Hong Kong with the delegation and performed many plays such as "love monk sneaking into Xiaoxiang Pavilion", "the story of white rabbit" and "a song of Phoenix courtship" in cooperation with famous Dan hongxiannu and Fang Yanfen. In particular, "love monk sneaking into Xiaoxiang Pavilion" was performed for 106 consecutive performances, which sold an unprecedented number of seats. In the 1970s, he Fanfan was employed as an actor in films and TV dramas in addition to performing in Cantonese opera. After leaving the art world, he opened a restaurant in Jordan Road, Kowloon, named "six banyan fairy house". In 1980, he was sick and sang "Pearl Tower" for the radio station. In September, he died in Hong Kong.

He was taught by famous actors, such as Li jiaotian, Chen xingzhang and Shi Yanzi. He also studied Huadan, but as male Huadan was gradually eliminated, he changed to Gongwen wusheng. He made use of his unique condition of bright and soft throat to study singing, and created a kind of "paparazzi tune", which was used repeatedly, sometimes low, sometimes improved, or occasionally idle. Therefore, it was popular, and many Cantonese Opera audiences would hum a few words. He joined the troupes of "Da Luo Tian", "Huang Jin", "Le Qi Dong" and "Hong Mei" successively. In 1938, he set up his own extraordinary Cantonese Opera Troupe. From then on, he really like to pull up the sailboat, plain sailing, sound shock Province, famous overseas.

He Fanfan didn't become popular all of a sudden. He first went to Vietnam and made a poor performance. Later, he moved to Shanghai to perform "the romance of the West Chamber", giving full play to his "paparazzi accent" characteristics. In 1947, he organized Fanxiang Opera Troupe and co performed with the famous Huadan Chu Xiuyun, etc. in "love monk steals to Xiaoxiang Pavilion", which was performed 360 times in Guangzhou. After 1949, he went to Hong Kong to continue to perform in Cantonese opera, and was employed as a film and TV actor. He Fanfan was not only addicted to Cantonese opera, but also followed his wife Luo Yanqing's lead in the 1950s, making about 300 films. At that time, the Cantonese film "three days fresh" was very popular with the audience. It was a prolific old actress. He died in Hong Kong in 1980. According to Li Yangsheng, most of he Fanfan's relics were collected in the Shatin Cantonese Opera Museum in Hong Kong, and the rest were kept by him. "Foshan is the birthplace of Cantonese opera, so we are happy to donate these valuable relics to the Museum of Cantonese opera." Li Yangsheng said. At the same time, Mr. Huang Xiang, vice president of the Hong Kong Cantonese Opera Association, donated a number of valuable Cantonese Opera materials to the Cantonese Opera Museum.
