Xiaoyi town is under the jurisdiction of Guanyun County, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province.
In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Xiaoyi town as a national health township for the period of 2017-2019.
Historical evolution
In order to meet the needs of economic and social development, the Civil Affairs Bureau of Guanyun county carried out a pioneering zoning adjustment. According to relevant policies, after multi-party argumentation and soliciting the opinions of the county people's Congress, the county CPPCC and other departments, a preliminary plan was formed to abolish Xiaoyi Township and establish Xiaoyi town. At present, the zoning adjustment declaration scheme has been submitted to the relevant provincial and municipal departments for approval.
On December 18, 2019, Jiangsu Provincial People's Government approved the change of some administrative divisions of Guanyun county (SZF [2019] No. 72). The town people's government is located in the territory of Dongji village committee, and its office address is 46 Jiankang road.
