Early experience

Born in Hong Kong, Chen joined her parents in singing classes and piano lessons when she was a child. She attended a series of singing competitions at hee en middle school when she was a middle school student. She was also a member of the school fencing team and choir. She participated in the school fencing competition on behalf of the school. She won the Hong Kong Intercollegiate women's epee team championship from 2003 to 2004 and the Hong Kong Intercollegiate women's Epee Individual runner up in 2004.

In 2005, Chen took part in the first "music with you" singing competition and won the championship. The judges of the competition recommended her to sing demo. During her spare time in college, Chen Fuyi, a part-time singer, performed in public at shopping malls and various large-scale dinners. Personal life

In 2011, Chen graduated from the Department of English translation, City University of Hong Kong.

At about 2:30 a.m. on April 17, 2013, Chen Fuyi was driving her private car to Yau Ma Tei from coastal Baolu overpass. When she arrived near Hong Kong Polytechnic College, her car hit the right shoulder, rebounded and hit the fork of the overpass, causing serious injury. She was sent to the hospital for rescue and died. She was only 26 years old. On May 10 of the same year, she set up a funeral in Baofu mountain, Shatin.
