Raymond, male, born in Huangshi City, Hubei Province on December 23, 1984, is a male pop singer and music producer in mainland China.

In 2011, he wrote the song "your smile" for Naying. In 2012, he wrote songs "maybe in" and "we all need" for Sun Nan. In 2013, he participated in the singing talent show "voice of China Season 2" of Zhejiang satellite TV, and finally won the top four of Naying group and the top 16 of China. In 2014, he released his first personal EP album don't be too loud. In 2016, he held a "hometown concert" with Dai Yue and Li Zhixian in Wuhan Qintai Grand Theater; in the same year, he launched his original single "passer-by".

Early experience

Hou Lei was born in Huangshi City, Hubei Province. He studied in Huangshi No.2 Middle School. In 2002, Hou Lei began to learn music and guitar by himself. After that, he began to engage in music related work, such as guitar teaching, composition and arrangement. In addition, Hou Lei joined playband and played as a guitarist. Later, as the first lead singer left the band, he became the second lead singer on the bench. In 2009, he participated in the "Pepsi group music team competition" with playband, and achieved the top five results in China.

In 2015, he and Li qiuze co wrote the song Dala.

In March 2016, he held a "hometown concert" with Dai Yue and Li Zhixian in Wuhan Qintai Grand Theater; on May 30 of the same year, he served as the judge of the finals of the singing talent show "the voice of China" of Zhejiang satellite TV in Yancheng; on June 22 of the same year, he launched his original single "passer by".

In October 2018, the source MV of Hou Lei's latest single "not far away" was launched simultaneously.

In 2021, he served as the music director of the original album of the third season of the domestic animation "wuliuqi".
