Chen Zhuo

Chen Zhuo, born in July 1978 in Changsha, Hunan Province, is an associate professor of the school of design of the Central Academy of fine arts and a male director and screenwriter in mainland China.

Profile

Chen Zhuo, a graduate of the Central Academy of fine arts, majored in architecture when he was a university. He won the Asia Pacific prize of the design competition of the International Association of architects. In his master's stage, he majored in digital media. His image works have won many awards. His work string dance Danqing won many awards such as silver award in the 10th National Art Exhibition in 2004. In 2005, Chen Zhuo won the full prize of the national digital media competition for art college students and the ccgf China Digital Art Professional Committee Award for his animation Yi. In 2007, he and his partner Huang Keyi began to form an artist group "Chen Zhuo + Huang Keyi" to create contemporary art. The representative work "China Carnival" series is presented in the form of digital photography and images, to explore the relationship between himself and society in the contemporary context, to create a three-dimensional Chinese landscape with humorous and absurd collective grand aesthetics, and to win the Italian Laguna Contemporary Art Award a grand prix. In 2010, he served as the president and artistic director of tiger Digital Media Co., Ltd. In 2011, Yang Meizhou won the best film "Firebird" award in the 2012 Hong Kong International Film Festival Competition unit and the best Asian Film netpac award in the 10th Vladivostok International Film Festival.

Acting experience

In June 2020, directed by him, supervised by Huang Zhiming and starred by Wang Qianyuan, Wang Jingchun, Qi Xi, Zhang Yuhao, Wang Tianchen, Zhou Zhengjie, the domestic film "the blade of hesitation" adapted from the novel of keigo Higashino was launched in Chongqing. On August 13, 2020, the film was officially released and the stills were exposed for the first time
