Originally named Huang Liyi, born in Hong Kong, she once uploaded her song "love, after" with her original name Huang Liyi on the Internet.

Since high school, Tang Mei has been participating in all kinds of singing competitions, so she got to know pan Yunfeng, the guitarist and lead singer of the band at that time. In 2007, the two decided to form a combination of "sugar brother and sister".
