You Huiqiu

You Huiqiu (1930-2000) is an actor of Tanci. He was born in Jiashan, Zhejiang Province. At the age of 12, he studied white snake and jade dragonfly from Wu Xiaofang in Suzhou, and soon performed with his elder martial brother Wu Jianqiu. The formation of "Youdiao" is inseparable from the pipa accompaniment of his wife Zhu xueyin. Whether it's fast tune or slow tune, Zhu xueyin's Pipa is always good. There's no noise. There's some demure and elegant spirit. It's not wild or crazy, and there's no so-called "evil spirit" of the pipa itself. It's really not easy.

Life of the characters

In 1948, he went to Shanghai to perform, and began singing on the radio. He won the audience's praise with a song snow in June. Due to the frequent contact with Jiang Yuequan and Zhou Yunrui on the radio, the singing level was improved.

Since 1952, he has been competing with Zhu xueyin. In the same year, he joined Suzhou Pingtan troupe and successively sang "Liang Zhu", "Chai tou Feng" and "Wang Shi Peng".

In 1957, he studied Pearl Tower as a supplement.

In 1959, he was transferred to Jiangsu quyi troupe.

In 1965, he was transferred to Wuxi Pingtan troupe.

In 1980, he performed in Hong Kong with Jiangsu Pingtan troupe.

The statement is clear. On the basis of "Shen Xue tune" and "Jiang tune", we learn from and absorb the singing of old students in Peking Opera to develop our own family, which is known as "you tune" in the world.

He died of complications of bone cancer in Wuxi in 2000 and was later buried in Jiabei cemetery. There are only two students, Wei Jian'an and Yuan Xiaoliang.

Album introduction

"Youdiao" is created by you Huiqiu, a famous Tanci artist. It includes adagio based on "Jiangdiao" and Allegro based on "Shendiao". He made full use of his own bel canto area, strengthened the change of small tune, and made use of trill, decorative sound, resonance and other skills to make his singing euphemistic, delicate, soft, smooth and pleasant. When singing reiterative sentences, from strengthening melody and speeding up rhythm, to making use of small tune changes and changing speed, you can master them freely and complete them in one go, which gives people a soul stirring artistic enjoyment. Zhu xueyin's Pipa accompaniment is unique and powerful. The combination of the two can be called "the combination of Qin and Se".
