Yuan Jie, born in Yan'an, Shaanxi Province in 1983, graduated from the performance Department of Shandong journalism college. Now he has set up his own studio.

The works are mainly commercial films. He has directed many horror films, such as "people under the bed 2", "horror cinema". In 2015, he tried to transform and direct Wulitou hilarious comedy film insomnia men and women for the first time.
