Tang Fei

Tang Fei, born in pujiwei, Tongling City, Anhui Province, is an athlete of Chinese men's weightlifting team. He was born in October 1988. In September 1999, he began to study in Tongling Amateur Sports School under the guidance of Xu Zhihu, a famous weightlifter in Tongling City. In 2001, at the age of 13, Tang Fei won his first gold medal in his sports career, namely the 43kg champion in the Provincial Junior weightlifting championship. In 2002, Tang Fei won the 46kg class champion in the 10th Anhui Provincial Games, and in 2003, he won the third place in the national youth competition. In 2005, in Anhui Province, Tang Fei not only won the championship, but also broke the juvenile record of Anhui Province.

In the 2006 Anhui 11th games, Tang Fei played an outstanding role. In the men's 77 kg class A (Tang Fei's actual weight is 71.5 kg), he snatched 150 kg and jerked 181 kg, breaking the record of the Provincial Games. He became the only player who broke the record of the adult group in the 11th games of Anhui Province. After that, he was officially selected into the provincial sports team training. In 2007, he won the gold medal of clean and jerk in the World Youth Championships, and the silver medal was won by the difference of 1kg between him and the champion. In April 2008, in the 69kg class competition of the 39th Asian men's Weightlifting Championships and Olympic trials held by Komatsu, Japan, Tang Fei won three gold medals of this level in snatch, clean and jerk and the total score of 317kg with snatch 140kg, clean and jerk 177kg This is the first time for Anhui Province to win three gold medals in intercontinental weightlifting competition in more than ten years.

On November 26, 2008, at the National Weightlifting Championship held in Shunyi District of Beijing, he won two gold medals in the men's 77kg class with a total score of 353kg and a clean and jerk of 198kg.

On October 25, 2009, he won the fourth place in the 77kg men's weightlifting competition of the 11th National Games.
