Lotus leaf cake, a pasta that novices can make
Introduction:
"It's said that northerners can make pasta and like to eat it, which doesn't work in our family. Because my husband and son don't like pasta very much, they only like rice, so I'm not good at making pasta. Once I went to a relative's restaurant and occasionally ordered a plate of lotus leaf cake. Unexpectedly, it was very popular with my son. Since then, I've been thinking about trying, and bought a book that specializes in making steamed buns and steamed buns. First try, success! The cake is bulky and soft. It's very elastic when you take a bite. It's not hard even after a day's storage. "
Production steps:
Step 1: put flour, salad oil and yeast into the toaster, add 2 / 3 water, and start the dough mixing process. Observe the water absorption of flour, and add the remaining water bit by bit until the flour is agglomerated and dry flour is not visible. Continue kneading for a few minutes to make a smooth dough. It's easy to knead noodles by hand, but I'm lazy and let the machine do it for me
Step 2: take out the dough, apply a thin layer of oil on the bottom of the basin and around, put in the dough, cover with fresh-keeping film, and ferment at room temperature to twice the size.
Step 3: divide into small dough, each about 50g, press flat, roll into round cake.
Step 4: apply a little salad oil on the surface of the round cake and fold it in half.
Step 5: use a toothed tool to press out the pattern on the surface of the cake, use a little force to avoid the pattern disappearing after steaming; use thumb and index finger to pinch out the handle of lotus leaf.
Step 6: make all the cakes in turn.
Step 7: put some cold water in the steamer, put wet cloth or non stick paper on the curtain, if there are no two, apply a layer of salad oil on the curtain surface; put in the lotus leaf cake, stir for 15-20 minutes, then steam for 20 minutes; turn off the fire as soon as the time arrives, open it about 1 minute later, and take out the pot.
Step 8: it's delicious with roast duck or other meat!
