Xinzhou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zheng'an County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, is located in the northwest of Zheng'an County, adjacent to Daozhen Gelao and Miao Autonomous County in the East, Yangxing Township and Bifeng Township in the south, Tongzi County in the West and Nanchuan District of Chongqing City in the north, with a total administrative area of 170.1 square kilometers.

By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xinzhou town was 33698. By the end of 2019, Xinzhou town has one community and eight administrative villages.

History of construction

Ming Wanli 29 years (1601), is sanjiangli.

Qing Guangxu 31 years (1905), is the western district.

In 1928, it belonged to Xinzhou district.

After liberation, Xinzhou was divided into seven districts.

In 1958, Xinzhou district was transformed into Xinzhou commune.

In 1961, the district system was restored.

In 1963, the four communes were divided into Xinzhou, Minzhu (later changed to Dingqing), Cili, Yangxing, Dacheng, Tongzi and Longgang communes.
