Qianfeng town
Qianfeng town is located in the west of Santai County, at the foot of Leida mountain, 560 meters above sea level, on the Bank of Sujia river. It is 24 kilometers away from Santai, 50 kilometers away from Mianyang, 120 kilometers away from Chengdu. It is bounded by Le'an town and Lingxing town in the East, Jianping town and Yuntong town in the West. It is located in Qinggang Office of Le'an town and Hongxing Office of Jianping town in the south, and Xinle office and zhuanjiang Office of Liuying town in the north. County Road Lu (XI) Yue (Jin) road, township road Qian (Feng) Ling (Xing) road through the field, the territory of convenient transportation.
On December 26, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's government agreed to cancel Qianfeng town in Santai County, Mianyang City, and put its administrative area under the jurisdiction of Jianping Town, which is located at No. 1, Government Street, jianpingchang community.
Regional overview
Qianfeng town was formerly known as "suhechang". In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there was a su champion in the Su family on the riverside of qiangchang town. After his death, he was buried here, so he named the river Sujiahe. Later on, Cheng bazaar was established and named "Suhe bazaar". The town covers an area of 23.88 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages, 79 residents' groups and 1 town residents' committee. The total population of the town is 7956 (2017). It has a land area of 23.88 square kilometers.

The origin of place names
During the cultural revolution in 1967, Suhe commune was changed to Qianfeng commune with the idea of "charging forward", which has been used since then.
History of construction
Qianfeng Town, formerly known as kuijin Township, formerly known as "suhechang", was established in 1790. at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of kuijin township (in suhechang) in the west of 28 Township, 4th Road, Santai County. In the 9th year of the Republic of China, there were many wars in Sichuan, and the organization of League training was strengthened in various places. Kuijin township was divided into Shangxiang and Xiaxiang League training. Kuijin Shangxiang League training was stationed in suhechang, and kuijin Xiaxiang League training was stationed in Yunlong Town (now Yuntong township). In the 14th year of the Republic of China, tuanlian was changed into tuanjia, and suhechang and Yunlong Town were set up as tuanjia offices in kuijin township. In the 19th year of the Republic of China, the new Tongde Hall (now the Tongde Office of Jinshi town) in kuijin township was called tuanjia office. in the 24th year of the Republic of China, Suhe joint protection was set up by suhechang regiment a; tongdechang was abolished and Yunlong Town was merged to set up Yuntong joint protection. in the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it adopted the "new county system" and was changed into Suhe Township and Yuntong township. In 1951, the land reform was completed and the democratic government was established. There are still two townships, Suhe and Yuntong; some villages are zoned out from Suhe to build Xinle Township and stay in CHANLE temple; and Tongde township is set up from Yuntong township. On October 1, 1958, Suhe people's commune was established, and in 1967, it was renamed Qianfeng commune, meaning to advance. In March 1984, the commune system was abolished and changed to Qianfeng Township, belonging to Le'an district. In September 1992, Jianping town was merged into Qianfeng office. In October 1995, Qianfeng town was designated as Qianfeng town.

Qianfeng town is located in Luyue Road, with convenient transportation, up to Luxi and Mianyang, down to Santai and Chengdu. At present, there are direct buses to Mianyang, Santai and Luxi in the town. It is only 19 kilometers away from Luxi station of Chengnan intercity high-speed railway, where you can transfer high-speed railway directly to Chengdu or get out of Sichuan.
