Authentic Northern Jiangsu flavor --- peanut and vegetable porridge
Introduction:
"In Northern Jiangsu, we eat porridge in the morning and evening and rice at noon. And porridge is generally based on white porridge, occasionally cooked soybean milk porridge, or made in season --- spring, dig some wild vegetables, cook shepherd's purse porridge; summer, mung bean porridge; autumn, pumpkin porridge; and winter, sweet potato porridge and peanut porridge are the most common porridge. My husband has been asking me to cook peanut porridge for him for a long time. But I didn't see the dishes that suit my taste, so I didn't move. Today's porridge is the most orthodox flavor of Northern Jiangsu. The oil is the soybean oil pressed from my mother's hometown, and the peanuts were also collected by my mother last autumn. The dish is a little green vegetable from a grandmother who sells vegetables. In fact, as long as there are vegetables, they can be cooked all year round. Vegetables grow in their own fields. If you want to eat them, just pull out two. What you want is freshness. "
