Dragon Boat Festival rice dumplings

Dragon Boat Festival rice dumplings

Introduction:

"Recently I fell in love with dragon boat dumplings. Their slim shape is really popular. Today, the bean paste dumpling is a change from the traditional single material. It is absolutely full of material and tastes delicious

Production steps:

Step 1: wash the rice dumpling leaves several times, bring to a boil in cold water and keep boiling for about 20 minutes. Take it out and soak it in water for one night (the amount of water is less than Zongye), and take it out in advance to control the water.

Step 2: wash the glutinous rice, black rice, red beans, mung beans, cowpeas and peanuts in advance and soak them overnight. Mix them well before use.

Step 3: divide the bean paste stuffing and set aside.

Step 4: prepare to make: take a complete Zongye and fold it as shown in the picture.

Step 5: take the right amount of mixed raw materials and fill in the leaves.

Step 6: add a portion of bean paste stuffing.

Step 7: cover with another layer of material and press tightly.

Step 8: keep the two ends of the rice dumpling leaves overlapped, fold them back and cover them on the glutinous rice, and be sure to press them tightly. This is the key step to adjust the shape of zongzi to ensure no rice leakage.

The ninth step: finally adjust the ends of the leaves, cut off the excess parts, and bind them with cotton.

Step 10: hot water pot, the amount of water must not be more than zongzi! After boiling, keep medium high heat for 1 hour, then turn low heat to simmer for 1 hour.

Step 11: the cooked dumplings are hot. It's better to take them out and air them before eating.

Step 12: when the air is just not hot, my greedy cat can't help peeling off one. Ha ha ~ then grab a close-up!
