English Name: tapioca, or sago. The main raw materials are metroxylon rumphii and m. sagu, two kinds of sago palms originated in Indonesia. Sago palms grow in low-lying swamps, usually 9 meters high, dry and coarse. After 15 years of maturity, it grows a flower spike, and the stem pulp is full of starch.
