Qilin is a divine animal in the legend of the Chinese nation. It is a symbol of peace, good luck and harmony. The legend of Qilin originated in Juye County and Jiaxiang County of Shandong Province. It began with the story of "hunting for Qilin in the west" in the spring and Autumn period. In addition to legends, there are also local customs such as "Qilin tomb", "Huolin terrace" and "Lin mountain". In Juye County, there are many legends about Qilin, such as "Niu Sheng Qilin", "Lin Shan Chan Lin", "Kong Mu Meng Lin", "Qilin send his son", "Qilin show his spirit" and so on, which are expressed in many forms, such as story telling, poetry, Quyi, folk songs, song and dance.
