Yangxin "GuZi Yangko" is an important genre of Shandong representative folk dance "GuZi Yangko", which mainly spreads in Yanghu Township, Wendian Township, liupowu Township, Laodian Township and surrounding counties of Yangxin County.

During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, it was called "Wu Yangge" by the local people. There is a saying among the local old artists: first there was Lingxiao Pavilion, then there was big Yangko. Not far east from Lingxiao Pavilion (20 Li) is Wuding mansion (now the hometown of Sun Wu in Huimin County). There is a barracks outside the city. On the 15th of the first month of every year, the soldiers and the people enjoy themselves together. The scene is magnificent, the dancing posture is bold and unconstrained, the movements are graceful, the rhythm is strong, and the dancing reaches the climax. Monks and Taoists also join in the dance, which gradually forms the modern culture Yangxin Yangko in the sky. The main roles of Yangko team are umbrella, drum, stick and flower.

As the dance is mainly run out of various battle formations, so the composition of a Yangko team can not be less than 32 people, more than a hundred to hundreds of people. The whole process of dance is basically a typical process of ancient military exercise, namely "parade, order, array, start and stop". According to the old artists, what GuZi Yangko performed was the story of the war between Sun Bin, an ancient military strategist, and Pang Juan; the first martial umbrella was played by Sun Bin.

The main accompaniment instruments of GuZi Yangko are drum, Gong, cymbal, cymbal and cymbal. One meter diameter drum is the core instrument of the whole dance. There are mainly "three points" with fast rhythm, "five points" with slow rhythm and "seven points" with medium speed in drum beat, which are different from other areas of Shandong Province, and also create a unique dance style of Yangxin Yangko.
