Introduction to Sangzhi folk song:
Applicant: Sangzhi County, Hunan Province
Sangzhi County is located in the northwest of Hunan Province, bordering Shimen and Cili counties in the East, Yongding District of Zhangjiajie City and Yongshun County of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in the south, Longshan County of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in the west, Xuanen and Hefeng counties of Hubei Province in the north. Sangzhi folk song originated from the production and labor in the primitive farming period, and its main artistic style is simple, extensive, funny and humorous.
After thousands of years of tempering, Sangzhi folk songs show a unique artistic charm in singing. To sum up, it has two values: (1) social culture. Sangzhi folk songs are the product of Sangzhi's unique geographical environment and closed and semi closed living conditions. Up to now, there are many songs reflecting the primitive religion (such as Nuo tune, weeding gongs and drums). The three sentence Lyric structure provides valuable information and examples for the study of the diversity of Chinese folk songs, and embodies the simple philosophy of Sangzhi people's advocating "three". (2) In terms of artistic features. Sangzhi folk songs are divided into folk songs, ditty songs, ritual songs, Nuo tune, etc., covering a variety of traditional folk songs. Its rigorous structure and various forms, especially the use of lining words, make folk songs reach a high artistic level in setting off the atmosphere and revealing the inner feelings of the characters. In addition, the special method of moistening tune and singing skills of Sangzhi's folk songs greatly enrich the singing theory of folk songs and provide a unique example for vocal singing.
The representative repertoire of Sangzhi's folk songs, such as "a line of chestnut blossom", "flowers bloom in four seasons", "hanging a lamp at the door", "making tea slowly in cold water", "horse mulberry tree building a lamp stand" and so on, have become classics in the treasure house of Chinese folk songs. On the basis of absorbing the rich nutrition of Sangzhi's folk songs, many musicians created such works as "carrying the burden of tea to Beijing", "sweet folk song", "heart love" and so on, which were also popular and spread for a while.
