Furniture making techniques in Jin Dynasty originated from Qin and Han Dynasties, gradually matured in song and Yuan Dynasties, reached its peak in the middle of Ming Dynasty, and continued to the end of Qing Dynasty. In the middle and late Ming Dynasty, when hardwood materials were exhausted, jinzuo furniture replaced local cork materials and became a wonderful flower in the furniture making world.
Jinzuo furniture uses local high-quality cork, such as walnut, elm and catalpa, and uses the technology of making hardwood furniture.
