Kirgiz embroidery is a special folk embroidery art, which is mainly popular in Kirgiz inhabited areas of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. After a long nomadic life, Kirgiz people are good at making daily necessities with animal leather and plush as raw materials, and their embroidery art also takes on the characteristics of grassland nomadic culture. Kirgiz embroidery is mainly about the sun, moon, stars, flowers, plants, trees, birds and animals. It also has a variety of geometric patterns. It is mainly used to decorate clothing, shoes and hats, belts, pillows, cloth sheets, felt blankets, curtains, door curtains and other daily necessities. These embroideries are exquisite in workmanship, gorgeous in color, beautiful in pattern, and have a certain symbolism. They especially like to use the red which is loved by the Kirgiz people.
