Linhai CI tune, also known as "Caizi tune" and "Xianhe tune", has been popular in Linhai City and its surrounding areas for more than 300 years. Haiyan tune, which appeared in the Southern Song Dynasty, spread to the early Yuan Dynasty and developed after being processed by Yang Zi. It was popular in Jiaxing, Wenzhou and Taizhou in the middle Ming Dynasty, and finally evolved into Linhai tune in the late Ming Dynasty.
There are more than 40 tunes in Linhai Ci, such as "male worker", "female worker" and "peace". The tunes pay attention to rhythm, elegant and elegant, tactful and beautiful. When singing, the tune is natural, mellow and stretching, and the charm is endless. We pay attention to "clear words, round tune, elegant sound, and stable plate", "every sentence has spirit, and every word has merit". Linhai CI tunes are usually performed in traditional folk festivals or leisure seasons. The performers are all men. They sing danjiao in a small voice, Huaqiang in a coarse voice, and all their confessions are in Taizhou Mandarin. When singing, Dan actors master tanban, and other actors have to play several kinds of musical instruments. Wearing long clothes and holding silk and bamboo Sheng strings, they sat around and sang.
The repertoire of Linhai CI tune is mostly based on historical stories and folk stories, with the theme of praising the historical figures who are loyal to the country, whipping the treacherous and sycophantic people, and eulogizing loyal love. The traditional repertoire includes more than 30 kinds, such as "Three Kingdoms", "Water Margin", "Diao Chan worships the moon" and "broken bridge". Daqing Shou is a typical repertoire of Linhai CI tunes, which contains 12 pieces of tunes, and has high historical and cultural research value.
In 2002, Linhai Cidiao society was established, which played a certain role in promoting the preservation and development of Linhai Cidiao. However, there is a lack of excellent actors in the society, and there is no successor. The ancient Linhai tune is still facing the danger of extinction, which is in urgent need of rescue and protection.
