The 18th theory of Tibetan wedding banquet is a kind of folk oral literature which is popular in the Tibetan settlements in the eastern agricultural region of Qinghai Province. It is formed with Tibetan Marriage Customs and has rich national cultural connotation.
There is a folk saying that "the wedding banquet lasts 18 days and nights, and the wedding speech has 18 procedures", that is, the true situation of the wedding banquet 18. Wedding banquet 18 said throughout the wedding, mostly rap, are improvised, generally by more than a dozen people in stages, sometimes takes a few days. The specific contents of the eighteen theories of Tibetan wedding banquet include: offering sacrifices to gods, braiding, combing, weeping wedding songs, outlet songs, parents' admonitions, horse stories, mats, land songs, houses, tea, wine, wedding banquet stories, belt tying, clothes, blessing, entrustment and auspiciousness.
