In the long-term spreading process, the string puppet has absorbed the artistic factors of the two puppet schools in Northern Zhejiang and Quanzhou, and has a unique style in head sculpture, figure modeling, dress and so on. The puppet head of Taishun puppet show is carved with camphor wood or miscellaneous wood with delicate texture. Its carving is delicate and concise, and its opening appearance is quiet and beautiful. Its facial makeup is simple and simple, and its pastel technology is delicate and colorful. The new plays include "happy heaven and earth", "true and false ox demon king" and so on.

At present, there are 72 puppet classes in Taishun County, many of which are puppet families. Puppet opera has become an indispensable cultural and entertainment demand of the people in mountainous areas.
