Background of shareholders

Approved by the State Council, China Xinda Asset Management Co., Ltd., the controlling shareholder, was established in Beijing in April 1999. It is a non bank financial institution wholly owned by the Ministry of finance. It was restructured into a comprehensive financial services group in June 2010.

Since its establishment, Cinda has repeatedly received and acquired the non-performing assets of China Development Bank, China Construction Bank, Bank of China, industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Bank of communications, Everbright Bank, Pudong Development Bank, Bank of Shanghai and other institutions.
