Meizhou Hakka Village Bank Co., Ltd. was established on October 28, 2010. The business scope of the company includes: absorbing public deposits; issuing short-term, medium-term and long-term loans; handling domestic settlement; handling bill acceptance and discount; engaging in interbank lending with the approval of the people's Bank of China; engaging in bank card business; acting as an agent for issuing, cashing and underwriting government bonds; buying and selling government bonds and financial bonds; acting as an agent for collecting and paying funds and acting as an agent Insurance business; other business approved by the banking regulatory authority.

On November 4, 2010, the first Hakka village bank in Meizhou was opened in Xianzi North Road, Meixian district. Meizhou's banking industry and inclusive finance have since added a new force. This is also the first village bank established in the mountainous city of Guangdong Province.

On December 23, 2016, Meizhou Hakka Village Bank Co., Ltd.
