Jiangsu life science and technology innovation park is located in Xianlin University Town, Qixia District, Nanjing city. It is a national science and technology business incubator, a national reproductive health industry base, and a collaborative innovation base of Jiangsu Province. Jiangsu life science and technology innovation park is located in Xianlin University Town, Qixia District, Nanjing city. It is located in the core area of Xianlin University Town and has rich educational resources. Xianlin University Town has 12 colleges and universities such as Nanjing University and Nanjing University of traditional Chinese medicine, with rich knowledge and talent reserves. Closely relying on the rich resources of Xianlin University Town, the Park focuses on the development of high-end biomedical industry, and builds the park into an ecological scientific and technological biomedical R & D cluster.

Jiangsu life science and technology innovation park has obvious geographical advantages. Close to Xianlin station of Shanghai Nanjing intercity railway, 312 national highway connects Nanjing and Zhenjiang city. The highway can connect Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge to central Jiangsu and Northern Jiangsu.

Construction scale

Jiangsu life science and Technology Innovation Park Phase I R & D incubation center, including two 10 storey buildings, each building is about 40000 square meters, of which one floor is 5.4m high, the other floors are 4.8m high, equipped with underground garage, is specially designed to adapt to the development of biomedical science and technology innovation, as shown in the R & D incubation center. The R & D incubation center mainly includes three parts: public service platform, University R & D institutions and incubation unit. The incubation unit can provide general R & D experimental room for enterprises, and each experimental unit covers an area of about 150m2, which can be freely combined and divided. Each laboratory has reserved exhaust outlet to facilitate the discharge of toxic cabinet and chemical gas.

The second phase of Jiangsu life science and technology innovation park was fully completed in April 2016. The project covers an area of 40 mu, with an 18 storey headquarters building, with a total construction area of 784000 square meters. The industrial development direction is medical devices, biomedicine and big health industry, and a world top 500 biomedical leading headquarters enterprise has been introduced.

R & D institutions

The University R & D institutions of Jiangsu life science and technology innovation park mainly introduce the key laboratories of Nanjing University, China Pharmaceutical University, Nanjing University of traditional Chinese medicine and Nanjing Normal University to provide professional technical support for the enterprises in the park. With Nanjing University of traditional Chinese medicine, the park has reached the intention to jointly build "Jiangsu new drug creation and industrial development center of traditional Chinese medicine", with China Pharmaceutical University to jointly build "Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences of China Pharmaceutical University", with Nanjing University to jointly build "Institute of chemical biology and innovative medicine", and with Nanjing Normal University to jointly build "Academy of biomedicine", Research and development of traditional Chinese medicine, chemical drugs, high-end innovative drugs and molecular biomedicine.

development history

In January 2009, the CPC Nanjing Qixia District Committee and the people's Government of Nanjing Qixia District jointly invested with Nanjing Xianlin University Town and established Jiangsu life science and technology innovation park with Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone.

In October 2015, the biomedical transformation research base jointly built by Jiangsu life science and technology innovation park and College of modern engineering of Nanjing University was launched. At the same time, the biomedical engineering discipline and Industry Development Forum of Nanjing University was held to invite all sectors of the society to discuss the future of biomedical engineering discipline and industry development.

In April 2016, the second phase of Jiangsu life science and technology innovation park was fully completed.

Development concept

The park has always adhered to the development concept of "public service is productivity and public service is competitiveness". It has built public technology service, industry incubation and other service platforms in the park to provide comprehensive technical support for enterprises entering the park and promote the transformation and docking of the middle and lower reaches of the biomedical industry. Four university laboratories in the park, including Institute of chemistry and biomedical sciences of Nanjing University and drug delivery system engineering technology research center of important universities in Jiangsu Province, are in normal operation. The park has introduced one Nobel Prize winner and two second prize winners of national technological progress and invention.

Service platform

The public service platform of Jiangsu life science and technology innovation park is mainly equipped with some large-scale precision instruments which are needed by enterprises for R & D, but are used less frequently and expensive. It provides third-party analysis and testing services for enterprises, and carries out analysis and testing, detection and verification, standard research and other services urgently needed in product R & D and innovation.

In addition, in order to speed up the construction of public service platform and let the enterprises in the park enjoy high-quality, efficient and professional services, the park and Jiangsu Productivity Promotion Center have reached a cooperation agreement to provide science and technology finance, introduction of innovative talents, international technology transfer, management consulting, system certification consulting, science and technology training and other services for the park and its surrounding enterprises and institutions.
