Tangquan farm is a pure agricultural state-owned enterprise with planting and breeding as the main industry. The agricultural cultivated land is 7308.6 mu, the land is flat and fertile, and the fields are in blocks; the artificially excavated rivers and canals crisscross, the water circuit bridges, culverts, gates and irrigation facilities are interconnected, and the traditional "rice wheat, rice oil" structure is mainly used as the planting mode, and the whole process of agricultural cultivation is mechanized; the freshwater aquaculture water surface is nearly 2000 mu, and the intensive aquaculture ponds are square and continuous, which is the "safe aquatic products breeding base" in Nanjing; There are nearly 150000 laying hens in stock, and there is a dairy farm enterprise with more than 2000 cows in stock.
Tangquan farm has six comrades in the leading group, including one main leader of the party and government and five deputy leaders at the field level. The administrative organ has three rooms and seven sections: Party and government office, organization and publicity section, financial audit section, urban construction and urban management section, agricultural economy and soil management section, comprehensive management section, social undertakings section, discipline inspection and supervision section, agricultural tourism office, population and family planning section.
