Shanghai Jiading Industrial Zone is a municipal industrial zone approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's government. It is located in the northwest of Shanghai and is divided into two major development areas, South and North. The total area is 78 square kilometers, and the core area is 32.4 square kilometers.

The park is located in the northwest of Shanghai, on the Huning development axis, bordering Taicang, Jiangsu Province in the north, Jiading new city in the south, Shanghai International Automobile City and Kunshan, Jiangsu Province in the west, and Baoshan, Shanghai in the East. Historical evolution

Founded in October 1992, the Southern District has developed an area of 24.8 square kilometers. It has successively established national high-tech park, Shanghai Optoelectronic Technology Industrial Park, and Jiading Pioneer Park for overseas Chinese. It has attracted more than 200 investors from more than 10 countries and regions in the world. Beiqu district was established in January 2003 and officially approved by Shanghai Municipal People's government as a key pilot park in June, with a planned area of 110 square kilometers and a core development area of 32.4 square kilometers.
